Mr. Rockwell is a founding member and partner in SRS. His many years of emergency response and management experiences are critical to the SRS Response Team. Having served in various management capacities, he provides the leadership required to efficiently handle high profile hazardous emergency situations.

Mr. Rockwell is responsible for SRS’ field related activities, personnel, corporate health and safety, and training for compliance and product specific courses. He is also responsible for the operation of SRS’ Kemah, Texas office.

Professional Experience:

Beginning his career as Supervisor of Plant Operations for DPC Industries, Mr. Rockwell supervised the repackaging and transport of chlorine and sulfur dioxide cylinders and containers. He was responsible for the implementation of Department of Transportation regulations and driver training compliance programs. He also served as Emergency Response team leader for Chlorep in the North and Northeast sectors of Texas. He managed a group of responders from several different companies to respond to and mitigate Chlorine related incidents on a state and region wide basis.

Mr. Rockwell previously worked as Project Manager and Emergency Response Supervisor at EmTech Environmental Services and Eagle Construction and Environmental Services, Inc. In those positions, he managed hundreds of emergency response incidents, handled tank car transfers, high hazard incidents, and remediation projects.

Mr. Rockwell worked as District Manager with Boots & Coots Special Services. Responsibilities included the administration and management of all operations for the North Texas Region and managment for the high-hazard global response team.

Mr. Rockwell has responded to and managed numerous emergency response incidents including tank car and transport transfers. He is trained as a Compressed Gas Specialist in chlorine, sulfur dioxide, and anhydrous ammonia. He worked on a major project for ARCO-China and was stationed on one of the world’s largest gas rigs in the South China Sea. His experience and knowledge of compressed gases and cylinders in response led to the safe recovery and decommissioning of 1300 cylinders which contained Boron-trifluoride, HCL, Hydrogen, and HCL in Minatitllian, Mexico.
