Mr. Brant is SRS’ resource and logistics manager, providing support to operations nationwide. Joining the operations team in 2005, he establishes and maintains relationships with contractors and vendors to provide the necessary resources supporting activities from emergency responses to the final disposal of wastes.
Professional Experience:
Mr. Brant began his career as a Fire Fighter in 1976. He shifted his interest to Hazardous Material Management in 1983 when he became the Resource Manager and a Hazardous Materials Technician with Western Emergency Services. At Western, he was responsible for purchasing and managing equipment for the company. He also served as an Industrial Firefighting Instructor. He was a member of the team that participated in the development of new technology for accelerating burning tank cars.
In 1988, Mr. Brant went to work with BMS Cat/EmTech Environmental Services. He was the purchasing manager for three divisions and national equipment and supplies incident coordinator. He also served as an Industrial Firefighter and Instructor for Hazardous Materials and Confined Space Training.
In 1993, Mr. Brant worked for Environmental Management Corporation as the Assistant Operations Manager. He was responsible for the day to day operations of the office and the purchases for two divisions. He coordinated all emergency response and disposal activities and served as an instructor for hazardous material and confined space training.
In 1997, Mr. Brant joined Garner Environmental as their Resource and Disposal coordinator. He was responsible for coordinating the hazardous material emergency response incidents and purchasing of capital assets for four divisional offices. He coordinated the disposal activities of the company and served as a trainer for hazardous material and confined space training.
