When a hazardous material incident occurs outside of SRS' immediate response area, the SRS Response Manager can utilize the closest response entity to assist with mitigation. The SRS National Subcontract Network provides preliminary assessments to identify the magnitude of the incident and local resource
availability until SRS arrives onsite. If the incident does not warrant a response by SRS, the subcontractor can handle the project "turnkey". SRS' Response Manager will provide oversight to the subcontractor verifying that the incident is properly mitigated with the correct resources and established cost control measures. As the project progresses, notification criteria and timetables are established to keep the customer apprised of the project. After the project is completed, SRS ensures that all waste issues are resolved and provides project reports and closure documentation.
The Subcontractor Network is used for:
- Local Resource Identification
- Small spill / minimal risk cleanup
- Waste Disposal
