Mr. Holden adds tremendous depth to SRS in response and management of transportation related emergency response incidents involving hazardous materials. With twenty-five years of Industrial Firefighting experience, Mr. Holden has become a valuable asset to the SRS team. As an Emergency Response Project Manager, Mr. Holden has experience working with the USEPA, CERCLA, RCRA, TSCA, DOT regulations and local state government regulators.
Mr. Holden has responded to hundreds of chemical emergencies. Those responses involved compressed gases, flammable liquids, petroleum products, and unknown materials involved in over-the-road, rail related, and facility related incidents. He provides hands-on management of SRS’ projects, personnel, and sub-contractors and is instrumental in SRS’ response equipment design, implementation, and fabrication.
Professional Experience:
Mr. Holden began his career in 1982 as a Volunteer Firefighter for the Lake Worth and River Oaks Fire Departments. In 1986, Mr. Holden began working for Lockheed-Martin Tactical Aircraft Systems as an Industrial Firefighter where he performed numerous aircraft fire, rescue and medical emergencies. Mr. Holden specialized in chemical releases within the LMTAS plant which required two high security clearances with DOD.
Mr. Holden continued his career at Eagle Construction and Environmental Services, Boots & Coots Special Services and Garner Environmental Services, Inc. where he held positions of Emergency Response Manager and Operations Supervisor. Mr. Holden performed numerous emergency responses: tank rollovers, inter-modals, train derailments, industrial accidents, tire fires, clandestine labs and dealt with incidents involving high hazard, sensitive, unique, and explosive materials. Mr. Holden has a multitude of experience in various environmentally sensitive areas.
